Bonneville Pinniped Observation

 

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District (USACE) intends to enter into a sole source cooperative agreement with the Student Conservation Association (SCA) for the collection of data used to determine pinniped abundance and predation estimates on salmonids and other fish at Bonneville Dam. Data collected will be used to determine effectiveness of deterrent efforts in reducing pinniped presence and/or predation on salmonids at the dam. This agreement is an opportunity to provide training and education opportunities for Student Conservation Association (SCA) interns with fish and wildlife, marine mammal, or environmental studies backgrounds.
