Benthic Data Collection and Analysis at Dredged Material Disposal Sites at the Mouth of the Columbia River

 

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District (USACE) intends to enter into a cooperative agreement for assistance in the USACE benthic biological monitoring efforts at nearshore dredged material placement sites located at the Mouth of the Columbia River, along the costal ocean waters of Oregon. Work products developed within this Cooperative Agreement would be used to implement long-term dredged material placement strategies and evaluate potential benthic effects at other nearshore dredged material placement sites within the Portland District. The preferred partner in the agreement will be qualified to provide technical data collection and analysis and must have experience in benthic and natural resource evaluation work and data analysis in volatile areas such as the Mouth of the Columbia River. This cooperative agreement is awarded pursuant to 33 USC 2326b – Sediment Management Data collection will be performed at the Mouth of the Columbia River.
