USAID/Uganda Karamoja Health

 

The purpose of USAID’s 2014-2019 Karamoja Health and HIV/AIDS Integrated program is to secure services to support the design and implementation of a comprehensive, integrated investment in enhancing Karamoja region’s health, HIV/AIDS and nutritional conditions. The program will focus on maximizing the impact of the Government of Uganda (GOU), the United States Government (USG) and other donors’ considerable investments in developing Karamoja’s health services and systems, using a district-based integrated package of quality health, HIV/AIDS, nutrition and child development services. As part of the process of designing this new program, USAID/ Uganda is sharing a draft of the Program Description with all interested parties for the purpose of soliciting comments on its clarity and feasibility. This notice is solely intended to solicit comments on this impending project and is not a Request for Applications. Ideas contained herein may change significantly during the mission’s ongoing program design, consultation and approval process. Interested parties must submit all comments concerning this draft Program Description in writing to KampalaUSAIDSolicita@usaid.gov, by August 11, 2014, 4:00 pm (EDT) Washington, D.C. Comments sent to any other e-mail address will not be considered. The e-mail transmitting the comments must reference the funding opportunity number with the subject “Comments on PD, Karamoja Health & HIV/AIDS Integrated Activity.” Please note that responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a legally binding contract.
