Applicant Eligibility

Beneficiary Eligibility
Eligibility is limited to Federally recognized Indian Tribes and Tribal Organizations authorized by Indian tribal governments (Tribes and Tribal Organizations as defined in 25 U.S.C. 5304(e) to include Alaska Natives, ANC's, Tribal coalitions, Tribal entities (as defined in M-23-09) or as identified by the Climate and Economic Screening Tool qualify as Justice40/disadvantaged communities.
Credentials/Documentation
Tribal Resolution, Letter of intent, program implementation work plan, environmental compliance agreement, a pro forma balance sheet, itemized budget for RESP activities and other applicable documents as specified within the DOI IRA Electrification Guidance document. This program is excluded from coverage under 2 CFR 200, Subpart E - Cost Principles.
