This is intent to award  Regulate Shorebird Hunting in the Caribbean and South America
 
  				This intent of the award is to Regulate Shorebird Hunting in the Caribbean and South America.  The objective of this project is to develop a comprehensive, point-in-time overview of hunting policy for shorebirds within the region.  We will evaluate hunting policies with respect to shorebirds using the Western Atlantic Flyway for all jurisdictions within the Caribbean Basin, northern South America.  This will include archiving actual text of legal hunting policies and developing a system for characterizing policies.  The system will be used to populate a policy matrix for the region.  Fields in the matrix may include hunting permitting process hunting enforcement mechanisms hunting season bag limits hunted species.
