This is a Notice of Intent to award a Grant Agreement to the University of Nebraska at Omaha, for the purpose of bat surveys.
Who is eligible to apply/benefit from this assistance?
Applicant Eligibility
This Single Source Award is being made in accordance with Department of the Interior Policy 505 DM 2.14 B (4), which allows for award without competition to an applicant. The applicant is uniquely qualified to perform the activity based on location, technical expertise, and continuity in methodology. All of the investigators are experienced with surveying, mist-netting, handling and identifying bats. Dr. Jeremy White has previously captured and handled Indiana bats in the eastern United States and Dr. Freeman has also sampled for his species before.
