Revitalization of Nevada Landscapes

 

A. Project Objectives: The principle purpose of this program is to fund the design, implementation, and completion of on-the-ground projects designed to enhance, rehabilitate, restore, and when appropriate mitigate habitat on BLM-administered public lands across Nevada for wildlife conservation. B. Benefits: Benefits of the project include the obvious direct benefit to the public of improved public lands for non-consumptive outdoor recreation and hunting purposes, Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW), through its Partners for Conservation and Development Program is able to leverage funds to increase funding availability for more comprehensive projects on a greater scale. Successful leveraging of funding not only provides for more comprehensive projects and faster project completion, but also provides a cost savings to the tax payer as leveraged funds can originate from the private sector.
