Restoring Native Plant Communities

 

Cooperatively bringing together federal, state, and NGO natural resource professionals, resource agencies and conservation organizations to further the purpose of ecological restoration and sustainable ecosystems. Fulfill national and state needs for improving communication for management of publically appreciated plants, fish and wildlife. Information sharing on research & management and exchange of ideas about ecological restoration to support functioning habitats at SER conferences and workshops will provide the public enhanced experience on public land and enhanced opportunity to be more informed public stewards of public lands resources for plants, fish and wildlife. This agreement is to support a collaboration between BLM and SER in acquiring accurate and up-to-date information about how to restore native plants, animals, and plant communities found on public lands administered by the BLM. This collaboration will also result in information in a format than can be used by Bureau specialists, Bureau contractors and the public.
