Certificate of compliance with Federal forms/accreditation (for educational institutions).

How are proposals selected?
Preference will be given to nonprofit organizations with constructivist educational expertise, and strong linkages to South African NGOs and/or educational institutions.
How may assistance be used?
Designed to give U.S. institutions the opportunity to host South African teachers for a period of 1 month, and for a limited number of U.S. teachers to visit and train teachers in South Africa.
What are the requirements after being awarded this opportunity?
Reporting
Quarterly financial and program reports are required.
Auditing
In accordance with the provisions of OMB Circular No. A- 133 (Revised, June 24, 1997), "Audits of States, Local Governments, and Nonprofit organizations," nonfederal entities that expend financial assistance of $300,000 or more in Federal awards will have a single or a program-specific audit conducted for that year. Nonfederal entities that expend less than $300,000 a year in Federal awards are exempt from Federal audit requirements for that year, except as noted in Circular No. A-133.
