Pre-Solicitation Notice: FY 2016 Conflict Mitigation and Reconciliation Programs and Activities

 

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to notify prospective applicants that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance, Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation (DCHA/CMM) intends to issue a Request for Applications (RFA) in February of 2016 to support â₏œpeople-to-peopleâ₏ conflict mitigation and reconciliation programs and activities that bring together individuals of different ethnic, religious, or political backgrounds from areas of civil conflict and war in the following countries: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Burundi, Liberia, Rwanda, Senegal (including cross-border programming with Guinea, Guinea Bissau, and The Gambia), Uganda, Zimbabwe, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Colombia. The RFA will be published on Grants.gov with the Funding Opportunity Number RFA-OAA-16-000007. Interested parties are advised to monitor this website for updates on this potential funding opportunity. Any questions or requests for information will NOT be responded to until the RFA is issued. USAID will NOT accept applications prior to the RFA issuance. Issuance of this pre-solicitation notice and any subsequent RFA does not constitute an award commitment on the part of USAID, nor does it commit USAID to pay for any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of any application.
