OJJDP FY 2013 State Advisory Group Training and Technical Assistance Project

 

The State Advisory Group Training and Technical Assistance Project will provide training and technical assistance to state advisory groups (SAGs) appointed under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDP Act) of 1974, as amended. Title II Part B authorizes the OJJDP Administrator to provide training and technical assistance resources to states, U.S. territories, federally recognized tribal governments, and units of local government to support their justice systems response to juvenile delinquency. It is anticipated that this project will be authorized by an act appropriating funds for the Department of Justice and 42 U.S.C. Section 3796ee-10(b)(1)(B).

Applicant Eligibility
Applicants are limited to states (including territories), units of local government (including federally recognized tribal governments, as determined by the Secretary of the Interior), nonprofit and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education). OJJDP welcomes joint applications from two or more eligible applicants; however, one applicant must be clearly indicated as the primary applicant (for correspondence, award, and management purposes) and the others indicated as co-applicants.
