Purpose of Program: The purpose of the TIF program is to support the development and implementation of sustainable performance-based compensation systems (PBCSs) for teachers, principals, and other personnel in high-need schools in order to increase educator effectiveness and student achievement in those schools. Applications for grants under the Teacher Incentive Fund, CFDA number 84.374A, the General TIF Competition and 84.374B, the TIF Competition with a Focus on STEM, must be submitted electronically using the Governmentwide Grants.gov Apply site at www.Grants.gov.
