Northern Spotted Owl Surveys in Support of Demographic Monitoring

This project is for conducting northern spotted owl surveys within the Union/Myrtle Study Area and adjacent demographic study areas (e.g. Klamath Study Area and Tyee Study Area) on the Roseburg District. Additional surveys will be within the Klamath Study Area. These surveys would provide information on northern spotted owl occupation and reproduction as well as monitoring barred owl occupancy adjacent to and within the demographic study areas on the Roseburg District. The Protocol for Surveying Proposed Management Activities that May Impact Northern Spotted Owls (revised January 2012) should be used while surveying proposed management activities.
