Native American Water Rights Settlement Database (NAWRS)

Through a previous agreement between the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and the American Indian Law Center, Inc. (AILC) a database was developed to meet two critical needs for maximizing access to and use of key documents related to water rights settlements associated with native lands. A new agreement with Reclamation will improve on the existing database and will significantly improve the value and utility of the system for its many users.
