ITA requests that eligible organizations submit proposals (applications) for the fiscal year (FY) 2016 competition for MDCP awards. ITA creates economic opportunity for U.S. workers and firms by promoting international trade and investment, strengthening industry competitiveness, and ensuring fair trade.

Who is eligible to apply/benefit from this assistance?
Applicant Eligibility
Entities that fall within the following categories are generally found to be eligible to apply for an MDCP award: trade associations; state departments of trade and their regional associations; and non-profit industry organizations, including organizations such as World Trade Centers, centers for international trade development, and small business development centers. In cases where no entity described above represents the industry, private industry firms or groups of firms may be eligible to apply for an MDCP award. Such private industry firms or groups of firms must provide documentation in their eligibility determination request demonstrating that no entity in the first three categories listed below represents their industry.
