Independence Lake Watershed Protection and Management

 

The Mid-Pacific Region of the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a Notice of Intent (NOI) for a grant agreement to The Nature Conservancy (TNC) for the following program – Independence Lake Watershed Protection and Management, under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.508, Agricultural Act of 2014, Title II, Section 2507, Public Law 113-79 Enacted February 7, 2014. The purpose of this project is to fund activities which will assist in the recovery of Independence Lake population of Lahontan cutthroat trout and six other native fish species. (Refer to Notice of Intent (NOI) to award announcement No. R14AN20012 for additional information). A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. System for Award Management (SAM) applies to this announcement.
