English language micro-scholarships for disadvantaged but outstanding undergraduate students in Asuncion and San Lorenzo, Paraguay

 

The Embassy of the United States of America in ParaguayÂ’s Public Diplomacy (PD) section is pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards through this Request for Proposals (RFP). PD invites not-for profit/non-governmental organizations in Paraguay to submit proposals for teaching English as a second or foreign language to a group of up to 25 disadvantaged undergraduate students in the areas of Asuncion and San Lorenzo, Paraguay. The ESL/EFL teaching program should be 2 to 3 years in length with at least 4 hours of instruction per week with an emphasis on conversational ability and incorporate U.S. values and culture into the curriculum. Classroom sizes should be between 20-25 students.
