Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Rocky Mountain CESU

 

The U.S. Geological Survey¿s Core Science Analytics, Synthesis and Libraries (CSAS&L) organization is offering a funding opportunity entitled Research and development of a large scale data management and high performance scientific computing community framework for the Earth sciences to a partner within the Cooperative Ecosystems Studies Unit that has the ability to provide research, technical assistance, and education on scientific computing methodologies, practices, tools, and emerging technologies. The resulting tools, publications, and best practices will be available via various USGS websites, Universities, State Agencies, and the USGS CSAS&L website at http://www.usgs.gov/core_science_systems/CSAS&L/index.html. All results of this research will be available to federal and non-federal natural resource research and management communities, their partners, other stakeholders, and the general public.
