Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Gulf Coast CESU

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), National Wetlands Research Center (NWRC) is offering a funding opportunity for research that advances the development of radar and optical remote sensing techniques and their integration for mapping and monitoring coastal ecosystems, particularly in response to mapping flood inundation and canopy structure. Although this research will focus on the northern Gulf of Mexico, the expected technology advances will have direct implications to global remote sensing of coastal resources.
