Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Great Basin CESU

 

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Western Geographic Science Center (WGSC) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research to support development of the abovementioned methodology to incorporate land use change scenarios to forecast future demand for water. In support of this project, we seek a CESU partner who 1) demonstrated knowledge and experience in economics relating to water use, water demand, and forecasting through geospatial modeling, and 2) an understanding of western socio-ecological systems and their connections via the provision and use of aquatic ecosystem services.
