Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Califonian CESU

The U.S. Geological Survey¿s Core Science Analytics and Synthesis (CSAS) Program is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for technical assistance and expertise in furthering USGS institutional and project coordination, results reporting and cross-program collaboration. The purpose of this effort is to research possible methodologies in linking data from multiple sources within the USGS, efforts like the National Science Foundation¿s EarthCube initiative, and relevant university, NGO and public sources. USGS engages in a wide range of science activities across its Mission and Geographic Areas and work with partners, and this project seeks to visualize and stimulate linkages among them, as well as further the broader efforts of cooperating universities to characterize and link scientific research, personnel and project data.
