Conservation Innovation Grants Fiscal Year (FY) 2014 Announcement for Program Funding - Arkansas

 

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) an agency under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is announcing availability of Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. Applications will be accepted for projects within Arkansas. Applications are accepted for competitive consideration of grant awards for projects between 1 and 3 years in duration with a required project start date of September 1, 2014. The maximum award amount will not exceed $75,000 at a 50 percent funding level for the project (50% match required). CIG does not fund research projects and projects intended to test hypotheses do not quality for a CIG award. CIG is used to apply or deomonstrate previously proven technology.
