Colombia Drug Demand Reduction Program - Annual Program Statement

 

INL is part of the Department of Stateâ₏™s multi-faceted response to transnational criminal activity. Dedicated to strengthening criminal justice systems, countering the flow of illegal narcotics, and minimizing transnational crime, INL plays a key role in leading the development and synchronization of U.S. international drug and crime assistance. INL Bogotaâ₏™s Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) program seeks to strengthen national capacity to prevent initial substance use, reduce ongoing consumption, and increase treatment availability in order to minimize the impact of illegal drugs on the nation as a whole. To further progress in these areas, INL Bogota has allocated $1,000,000.00 U.S. Dollars to identify and support programs that will advance these DDR goals.
