Chesapeake Bay Program Office Fiscal Year 2013 Request for Proposals for the Annual Chesapeake Bay Submerged Aquatic Vegetation Aerial Survey

 

This RFP is seeking cost-effective proposals from eligible applicants for conducting an annual aerial survey, image-interpretation, mapping, and providing web-based access to maps denoting the distribution and abundance of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) throughout the Chesapeake Bay and its tidal tributaries in support of the non-federal organizations that are members of the CBP Partnership. While the CBP Partnership is comprised of federal and non-federal organizations, any activities funded under this RFP shall only directly support the non-federal partners. The non-federal partners of the CBP will provide programmatic direction to the cooperative agreement recipient through the CBP PartnershipÂ’s Vital Habitats Goal Implementation Team.
