Board Support and Innovation Grant

 

The Appraisal Subcommittee is making funds available to the Appraisal Foundation to support the operations of the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) and the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB), including projects and activities that promote reform and innovation and expand the positive impact of the AQB, ASB and to support the Foundations other grant-eligible activities.

Application Procedure
2 CFR 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards applies to this program. The Foundation must follow the steps described in the NOFA and submit its application directly to the Appraisal Subcommittee.
Award Procedure
The ASC staff will review the application and approve the specific activities to be supported under the grant as described in the application and contact the Foundation before award for any clarification or budget revisions needed. The ASC executive director will make the funding decision and issue a Notice of Grant Award to the Foundation. Funds will be expended directly from the Foundation.

More than 180 days. The Foundation may apply for year two and three funding under the grant at a time set by the ASC before the first year grant period ends.

Funds can be used to support the activities of the AQB and ASB, to make materials and trainings available free of charge, to assess the operations of the AQB and ASB, and to assess the best methods for providing practical appraisal experience.

Performance Reports: The grantee will submit a performance report every six months, following instructions the ASC will provide.
