BLM OR/WA - Lopez Island Area of Critical Environmental Concern Monitoring

 

Background: The BLM land on Lopez Island has been designated as an Area of Critical Environmental Concerns due to the sensitive and rare species and habitat. The BLM has partnered with a recipient the last 24 years to support long-term stewardship activities of volunteers who provided monitoring and maintenance. The BLM is interested in continuing a similar partnership. Objectives: To monitor land health and public use of sensitive landscapes.
