BLM OR-WA: South Fork Crab Creek Riparian Restoration, Spokane District, WA

 

The South Fork Crab Creek Riparian Restoration project is part of an ongoing effort between private landowners, non-profits, and other federal and state agencies, to enhance wetland and riparian areas in the Upper Crab Creek Watershed. Restoration efforts have targeted wetland and riparian habitats to benefit the fish and wildlife using these systems as well as the recreating public. This project is to support ongoing restoration efforts in the Crab Creek Watershed. Types of projects include habitat restoration, flood detention and water quality improvements, topographic surveys to delineate wetlands, assessment of further restoration needs as well as ground water monitoring.
