BLM OR-WA: Lower Sandy Wild and Scenic River Coop Mgmt Plan, Salem District

This project seeks to improve management of the lower Sandy Wild and Scenic River through the cooperation between the BLM and State entities. The first component of this effort is to collect information on current visitor experiences and recreation use levels on the lower section of the Sandy River from Dodge Park to Dabney State Recreation Area through the administration of on-site questionnaires during the winter and summer high use seasons. Information is needed in order to adequately address and develop cooperative management plans between all interested parties.
