BLM OR-WA: Drought Hardiness Study, Oregon

 

The objective of this project is to gather information on the ability of elite families selected from Douglas-fir breeding units throughout western Oregon to withstand drought conditions and monitor their growth over time. The goal of this project is to improve the quality of reforestation material available to place in the landscape. Information gained will augment research being done on assisted migration and global warming.
