BLM CA Farmworker Institute of Education and Leadership Development FIELD

 

This will assist with the start-up, establishment and operation of a newly formed youth organization which will be for remote economic and social prosperity from ethnic communities. This will strengthen rural communities through education, workforce and economic development. The Bureau of Land Management has worked with FIELD as a sub-recipient for the past year and has been pleased with the work this newly formed organization has completed on public lands by the youth gaining, understanding and appreciation of the purpose of working on projects to protect the environment.The crew members will be 15-25 years of age.
