BLM CA CCS Point Blue Joint Venture

The BLM will collaborate with the Point Blue (formerly PRBO Conservation Science) to protect, conserve and restore sensitive bird populations and habitats in California. Point Blue is well-positioned from its past work in riparian, chaparral, oak woodland, coastal, desert, wetland, and montane habitats in California and other states to assist the BLM in conservation management for bird species as part of their overall mission for avian conservation. They are also able to assist computer modeling to guide BLM management for adaptation of BLM ecosystems to accommodate bird populations responding to climate change.
