BLM AK Native Plant Materials Development Project

This is a continuation of Agreement L09AC15485 which expires September 10, 2014. There is a significant need for collection, increase, and storage of native plant seeds, bare root, containerized plants and other materials for use in rehabilitation and restoration activities on BLM managed lands in Alaska. These plant materials are not widely available. Seed from other areas, including some "native" species from other regions have been determined to be aggressive invaders in Alaska (AK).
