BLM-AK-Land Management and Conservation Program Internships

 

The purpose of this opportunity is to create 1-2 internships establishing a mentoring program whereby recent college graduates work directly with conservation and land management program projects. The objective would be to further observe and restore fish and wildlife habitat, especially for sensitive plant and animal species, by managing treatment and monitoring nonnative invasive plants. Other parts of the project could include vegetation measuring and monitoring, such as caribou range and rare plants.
