BLM AK Cooperative Monitoring of Wildlife Populations and Habitats on BLM lands, Alaska

 

This project is to conduct joint monitoring of wildlife populations and habitat on BLM lands, including aerial survey of moose in the White Mountains National Recreation Area (NRA) and Steese National Conservation Area (NCA) and aerial surveys and monitoring of radio collared Dall¿s sheep and caribou for population numbers, age/sex composition, seasonal distribution and habitat use, and movements.
