BLM AK Circumpolar Biodiversity Monitoring Program (CBMP)

 

The Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF) Secretariat will assist with the implementation of the four-year strategic plan for the Circumpolar Biodiversity Monitoring Program (CBMP). The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the North Slope Science Initiative (NSSI) are the co-leads for the CBMP. The BLM and NSSI will provide funding for the implementation of the CBMP which focuses on the monitoring of biodiversity elements throughout the Arctic. As part of the CBMP, the BLM is providing expertise gained from the Assessment, Inventory and Monitoring pilot project in the National Petroleum Reserve Alaska.
