Assistive Technology National Activities

 

The purpose of the Assistive Technology National Activities is to support activities to improve the administration of the AT Act in the following areas: national public awareness; state training and technical assistance; data collection and reporting; and research and development of assistive technology.

Fiscal Year 2017 Provided training and technical assistance to support 56 Statewide AT programs; maintained an AT internet site that provided comprehensive, up-to-date information on resources related to AT. Maintained and updated data collection and reporting systems used by 56 Statewide AT programs; work with ACL and states to use the system to meet state and federal reporting requirements.
