Ash Meadows Genetic Monitoring Project

 

This project is part of a USFWS (Service) recovery activity Ash Meadows Amargosa pupfish Cyprinodon nevadensis mionectus, which is listed under the U.S. Endangered Species Act, to restore natural hydrologic connectivity between the Five Springs complex and outflow habitats downstream (Upper Carson Slough) in order to address direct threats to small population size and genetic isolation. This award is made under the authority of: Fish and Wildlife Act of 1956, as amended, 16 U.S.C. 742a-742j
