Afghanistan Jessup Moot Court Competition
 
  				INL is seeking applications to design and propose their own program to implement the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court (Jessup) national competition for Afghan law students throughout Afghanistan.  Successful applicants will enhance the capabilities of students graduating from Afghan law schools to act as competent advocates and oralists.  A successful applicant will address the training of faculty coaches.  In addition to preparing law students for futures in oral advocacy, the faculty members will learn about incorporating rigorous research and practical education models into their teaching through participation in the Jessup program.  Successful applicants will demonstrate an understanding of how a schoolÂ’s participation in the Jessup competition can elevate the pedagogy of the participating law and sharia faculties.
