2013 National Park Service - National park Foundation Transporation Scholars

 

This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service (NPS), intention to fund the following project activities without competition. The Transportation Scholar in the Parks program is in partnership with the National Park Foundation, National Park Service, Eno Transportation Foundation and the Federal Highway Administration. The program was developed to support and promote sustainable transportation solutions that help preserve Park resources and enhance visitors¿ experience. The program provides a unique opportunity for career development or public service to transportation specialists or masters and doctoral candidates in the fields of transportation, engineering, and planning. This gives transportation specialists a unique opportunity for career development and public service. The 2013 Transportation Scholar in the Parks Program will place Transportation Scholars in five national parks. See attached documents in Grants.gov for additional information.
