River Corps Program

To continue the work of the River Corpsmembers on the Los Angeles River. This includes funding a new six-member crew of inner city, low income young adults (ages 18-25) through the River Coprs Program. This support would enable the River Corpsmembers to be involved and exposed to environmental education, community outreach, habitat restoration and leading tours of the Sepulveda Basin. By continuing funding the program will be able to engage young adults in restoring and learning about the valuable resources the Los Angeles River offers
