To provide mutually beneficial training and consultation between overseas-based educational advisers and U.S.-based international education professionals.

Regional Linkage awards are given for overseas educational advisers to attend regional U.S. conferences on international education and consult with U.S. campus-based representatives.

Limited to the ECA core cooperating organization (NAFSA: Association of International Educators).

Beneficiary Eligibility

Professionals involved in international education administration.

Preapplication Coordination

Administered by NAFSA, in cooperation with the Department of State. This program is excluded from coverage under E.O. 12372.

Award Procedure

State Department selects participants; NAFSA matches participants with host U.S. campuses.
