Objectives
To provide educational material (slide programs, teaching packets, videocassettes, videodiscs, CD-ROMs, and DVDs) on the Gallery's collections and exhibitions, free of charge, except for return mailing, to individuals, schools, colleges, and libraries across the Nation.

Program Accomplishments
In fiscal year 2002, audiovisual art education materials relating to the Nation's collection of paintings and sculptures and to the Gallery's special exhibitions were shown 134,351 times. In fiscal years 2003 and 2004, the number of showings and audiences are estimated to remain in this range. The use of these resource materials in the educational community and for continuing and lifelong learning will remain high. In fiscal year 2002, Extension Programs on the Gallery's collections and exhibitions were seen by a reported 13,440,371 persons.
