Media and Communication Skills for Women Parliamentarians

 

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan invites all eligible organizations to submit a proposal for a program to train Afghan women Members of Parliament (MPs) in communications and media relations skills, with a focus on practical skills in the areas of messaging, public presentation and media relations tools. This program will be open to all Afghan women MPs, and instruction should be in Dari and Pashto.

Who is eligible to apply/benefit from this assistance?
Applicant Eligibility
Eligibility is open to all U.S., Afghan, and international organizations or companies with direct experience in communications and media training, and a proven track record of success implementing media projects in Afghanistan. Afghan organizations must provide a current country registration license, competent programmatic ability, and be able to meet reporting requirements. U.S. organizations or companies are required to partner with an Afghan organization or company.
