Legal Education Visiting Scholar Program for Afghanistan

 

INLâ₏™s Office for Afghanistan and Pakistan Programs (INL/AP) is focused on directing and overseeing critical foreign assistance activities pertaining to counternarcotics, crime, rule of law and law enforcement training in Afghanistan. INL/AP is now seeking applications from organizations or institutions of higher learning with the requisite capacity and experience to implement rule of law education programs in Afghanistan. Specifically, the organization or institution of higher learning will develop and implement a visiting scholar program to an accredited U.S. law school which will consist of a LL.M. degree study for law students, professors, and/or lawyers working in the Afghan public sector focusing on a skills-based education, including clinical education and assisting potential candidates with employment opportunities within Afghanistan once they graduate and return to Afghanistan.
