Evaluation of Rule of Law Programs in Colombia

 

Since fiscal year 2000, the State DepartmentÂ’s Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) has received funding for rule of law activities in Colombia. INL seeks technically sound approaches for the evaluation of rule of law programs in Colombia from 2008 - 2011. Proposals should be responsive to the solicitation and practical. The applicant should be able to demonstrate a firm understanding of Colombian law (current and pending) and judicial process. The applicant should also be cognizant of the obstacles impeding the efficient processing of persons in ColombiaÂ’s criminal justice system and in the administration of justice in Colombia generally.
