English Language Training for Media in Georgia

 

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia announces an open competition for the administration of the English Language Training for Media which will provide English language courses to improve English language command among journalists and media managers around Georgia. The program is expected to fund up to eighteen month-long English Language training courses for media practitioners in the following cities of Georgia: Akhalkalaki, Akhaltsikhe, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Zugdidi, Batumi, Ozurgeti. The purpose of this project is to enhance the English-language skills of Georgian regional journalists and media managers, increasing their access to the broader range and most immediate information distributed internationally in English.
